Fleurs de Lyonville, Daylesford and Macedon Ranges Region

We invite you to spend the morning with Chris and Janae at their flower farm in Lyonville, where Janae will share her passion and extensive knowledge of cutting, conditioning and creating your own hand-tied bouquet of summer flowers to take home.

This workshop will be split into two sections:

The first part, beginning early in the morning to beat the heat, will have you joining Janae amongst the flowers, touring the farm where she will show you in detail how to pick a variety of summer blooms at their best, sharing tips and tricks along the way on cutting, conditioning, and storing flowers for their best vase life.

Once finished in the patch, we will break for morning refreshments and homemade treats made by Chris with plenty of hot tea on the boil.

For the second part of the workshop, you will head back to the flower shed (La Cachette) with your buckets of beautiful blooms filled with colour and scent, where Janae will then provide a detailed, extensive how-to on designing and creating your own hand-tied bouquet using the spiral technique and then you will get to make your own masterpiece.
